On October 21, Academician Sun Heping from the Institute of Precision Measurement Science and Technology Innovation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences led his research team in a symposium with the Institute of Geophysical Exploration, jointly discussing directions for innovative development and exploring potential avenues for cooperation in the field of geophysical exploration. Jiang Tao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman, and General Manager of Sichuan Resources Group, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Also attending were Zhang Qingsong, Head of the Mineral Technology Department of the Group; leaders of the Sichuan Provincial Geophysical Society; members of the leadership team of the Institute of Geophysical Exploration; and heads of relevant departments.

On October 12, to advance the special campaign "Year of Capability Enhancement," the Institute of Geophysical Exploration, as a founding organization of the Sichuan Geophysical Society, successfully hosted the second meeting of the first membership congress of the Sichuan Geophysical Society in a hybrid online-and-offline format. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Guangda, Secretary-General of the Sichuan Geophysical Society, and attracted a total of 202 participants.
