To further advance the comprehensive and strict governance of the Party, strengthen the institute’s awareness of integrity in professional conduct, and effectively reinforce the disciplinary defense line, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration held an educational warning meeting on violations of regulations concerning business and enterprise operations on October 22. The meeting was chaired by Zou Zhongping, Deputy Secretary of the Institute’s Party Committee, Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, and Chairman of the Trade Union, who also delivered a collective reminder talk on integrity. All Party members and mid-level or higher-ranking cadres based in Chengdu attended the meeting.

The plenary session thoroughly studied and implemented Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, fully carried out the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Party as well as the decisions of the Second and Third Plenary Sessions of the 20th Central Committee, and earnestly implemented the guiding principles of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, especially the important speech delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping. In accordance with the deployment requirements of the Provincial Party Committee, the session summarized the discipline inspection and supervision work of 2024, laid out tasks for 2025, and reviewed and approved the work report titled “Deepening the Building of Party Integrity and Fighting Corruption to Provide Strong Guarantees for Further Deepening Comprehensive Reform and Striving to Write a New Chapter for Sichuan’s Modernization in the Chinese Style,” presented by Comrade Liao Jianyu on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection.
