Relying on its wide-area electromagnetic fracturing monitoring technology, the geophysical exploration institute’s fracturing monitoring team continues to deepen its technological innovation and engineering practice in the development of tight gas reservoirs. On March 20, the team was invited to hold a special technical exchange meeting at the Fracturing Command Center in the Tongnanba Well Area of the Puguang Branch of the Zhongyuan Oilfield. During the meeting, the team systematically summarized the industrial application results of wide-area electromagnetic monitoring technology in the Tongnanba tight sandstone gas reservoir, providing a scientific basis for subsequent optimization of fracturing processes and the formulation of development plans.

Recently, the project "Comprehensive Investigation and Evaluation of the Disaster Mechanism of Clustered Geological Hazards Induced by Heavy Rainfall in a Certain Area of Guangxi," undertaken by the Institute of Geophysical Exploration and focusing on airborne geophysical exploration, successfully passed the fieldwork acceptance under the organization of the Department of Natural Resources of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and led by the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Geological Environment Monitoring Station. After conducting on-site verification, reviewing documentation, listening to reports, and answering questions, the expert panel unanimously concluded that the project’s results were of excellent quality, with comprehensive and reliable data, and that the project had圆满 completed its predetermined fieldwork tasks. This marks the entry of geological hazard prevention and control in a certain area of Guangxi into a new stage of technological application integrating "air-space-ground-internal" approaches.
