The group’s youth assault team has made it to the finals of the state-owned enterprise youth innovation and efficiency initiative!
On April 24, the Geophysical Exploration Institute, representing Sichuan Resources Group, participated in the preliminary round of the “State-Owned Enterprises Heart to the Party—Youth Create the Future” innovation and efficiency initiative for young employees in state-owned enterprises, organized by the Sichuan Provincial Enterprise Youth League Committee. After fierce competition, the Young Commando Team advanced to the finals with an impressive third-place finish!
This event focuses on the “15+N” key industries identified by the provincial Party committee and provincial government, mobilizing and guiding young employees of state-owned enterprises to actively engage in innovative practices. By strengthening enterprises’ core functions and enhancing their core competitiveness, they will fully leverage their youthful energy in playing the “three roles”—promoting scientific and technological innovation, exerting industrial control, and providing security support—to foster the development of new-quality productive forces.
At the event site, the youth task force presented a comprehensive and systematic overview of integrated engineering geophysical exploration technologies and their applications in shale gas development, using 3D technology animations and straightforward, easy-to-understand explanations. This technology has addressed key technical challenges in shale gas exploration and development, yielding significant economic and social benefits. It has also helped prevent engineering accidents and other issues that might arise during shale gas development, earning high praise from the judges present.
As a leading enterprise in geophysical exploration technology in the Southwest region, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration takes serving the nation’s energy and mineral resource security as its goal. Closely aligned with market demands, it tackles key technological challenges head-on, injecting strong momentum into the new round of strategic mineral exploration breakthrough initiatives. The Institute will continue to be driven by scientific and technological innovation, writing a new chapter of high-quality development in the field of mineral exploration.
