From April 1 to 3, 2025, the 2025 Academic Annual Conference and Advanced Training Workshop on Geophysical Exploration Technologies, hosted by the Solid Mineral Logging Branch of the Chinese Geophysical Society, was held in Tai'an, Shandong Province. Gu Zhiwen, Deputy General Manager and Chief Engineer of the Institute of Geophysical Exploration, as well as a member of the Solid Logging Branch of the Chinese Geophysical Society, led the delegation to the conference, deeply engaging in academic exchanges and dialogues on industrial innovation.

At a crucial stage of the Group’s in-depth implementation of the special campaign “Year of Capability Enhancement,” from March 27 to 28, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration, as a corporate representative, was invited to attend the themed event “Science and Technology Innovation Tianfu—Smart Gathering in Rongcheng” held in Hefei, organized by Qingyang District of Chengdu. The event was guided by the Chengdu Science and Technology Bureau and the People’s Government of Qingyang District, and hosted by the Qingyang District Bureau of New Economy and Science & Technology. It aims to deepen cooperation among universities, local governments, and enterprises, and to promote the practical application and commercialization of high-quality scientific and technological achievements.

On March 31, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration held an expanded Party Committee meeting to mobilize and deploy efforts for thoroughly implementing the spirit of the Central Government’s Eight-Point Regulation. The meeting conveyed the Group’s arrangements for deeply implementing the spirit of the Central Government’s Eight-Point Regulation and adopted the Institute’s work plan for study and education.
