On the afternoon of March 18, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration held its annual performance review and assessment meeting for the leadership team and leading cadres for 2024. The meeting was chaired by Yu Changheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the Institute of Geophysical Exploration. Li Xu, Deputy Director of the Organization Department (United Front Work Department) of the Group’s Party Committee, also attended the meeting.

On March 10, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration held a meeting on Party building, integrity and anti-corruption efforts for 2025. Yu Changheng, Deputy Secretary of the Institute’s Party Committee and General Manager, delivered a report on Party building work. Zou Zhongping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, and Chairman of the Trade Union, presided over the meeting and delivered a report on integrity and anti-corruption efforts.

To celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8, and to continue enriching the spiritual and cultural lives of female employees through the “Rose and Book Fragrance” initiative, the Trade Union of the Geophysical Exploration Institute meticulously organized a reading-sharing event themed “Reading for Dreams, Gathering Wisdom and Resources,” along with a symposium titled “Encountering the Most Beautiful Her,” on March 7. Zou Zhongping, Chairman of the Institute’s Trade Union, joined all female employees working in Chengdu to participate in the event.

Recently, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration held an exchange and discussion meeting with the Tuha Branch of China National Petroleum Corporation Logging Co., Ltd. The meeting focused on in-depth discussions about cutting-edge technological innovations in oil and gas logging, resource sharing, and project collaboration. Both sides also reached several consensus agreements on joint talent development, sharing of high-end instruments and equipment, and collaborative research on key technologies.
