Strictly Upholding the "Safety Gate" and Keeping the "Safety String Taut"—Geophysical Exploration Institute Launches "Delivering Safety to the Front Lines" Campaign
To fully implement the requirements of the Geophysical Exploration Institute’s “Three-Year Action Plan for Root-Cause Remediation of Safety Production (2024-2026)” and effectively ensure safe production at ongoing projects while proactively preventing all types of safety incidents, the Geophysical Exploration Institute recently launched a “Deliver Safety to the Front Lines” campaign, further enhancing safety awareness among all project personnel across the institute.

On April 8, the project safety inspection team—led by the Hospital’s Equipment and Safety Supervision Department—visited the site of a survey project aimed at identifying hidden disaster-causing factors in a coal mine in Yanbian County. The team conducted a focused inspection on various aspects, including the project’s safety management documentation, equipment records, forest fire prevention measures, and field operation procedures. In response to the issues identified during the inspection, the team promptly issued corrective action requirements to the project department. At the same time, the team urged the project department to remain constantly vigilant about safety production, ensuring that safety measures are planned ahead of time, thoroughly implemented, and effectively put into practice—truly achieving “preparedness before trouble arises” and preventing accidents before they occur. During the visit, the inspection team also delivered personal protective equipment such as hard hats and safety ropes to the project department, providing additional support for safe production.

Safe production is an ongoing journey. Moving forward, the Geophysical Exploration Institute will continue to uphold a sense of responsibility—always keeping safety top of mind—and ensure that safety responsibilities are effectively implemented in every single work step. We will remain committed to providing robust safety management at a high level, thereby safeguarding the institute’s high-quality development.
