On October 16, the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China opened at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. In accordance with the unified arrangement of the Sichuan Resources Party Committee and the Party Branch of the Geophysical Exploration Institute, the Geophysical Exploration Institute organized its Party members and cadres based in Chengdu to watch the live broadcast of the opening ceremony of the 20th National Congress. At the same time, all Party members and cadres in various project departments were required to watch the broadcast and carefully listen to the report delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping.

In the golden autumn month of October, the weather is crisp and refreshing. The Second Congress of Party Members of Sichuan Zhongcheng Coalfield Geophysical Exploration Engineering Institute Co., Ltd., under the Communist Party of China, was solemnly held in Chengdu on October 10. Li Shirong, a member of the Party Committee and Chief Engineer of Sichuan Provincial Natural Resources Investment Group; Bai Changzheng, Deputy Head of the Party Committee’s Organization Department; and Sun Xia, Deputy Head of the Party Committee’s Work Department, attended the meeting to provide guidance. Zhang Guangda, Secretary of the Party Branch, Chairman of the Board, and General Manager of the Geophysical Exploration Institute, presided over the meeting. A total of 35 Party members from the Geophysical Exploration Institute, along with department heads, prospective Party members, and employee representatives—altogether 11 attending delegates—participated in the meeting.

On September 1, 2022, the Chengdu Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia Prevention and Control Command issued the latest epidemic prevention notice. In accordance with the content of the notice and the requirements outlined in a communication from the Provincial Natural Resources Investment Group, the Party Branch of the Geophysical Exploration Institute attached great importance to the matter, promptly made arrangements, and organized all employees to carry out a series of epidemic prevention measures in an orderly manner.
