To celebrate the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and to inspire all Party members and cadres of the Geophysical Exploration Institute to remain true to their original aspirations, keep their mission firmly in mind, and step forward with a sense of responsibility and vigor, the Geophysical Exploration Institute held a celebration event marking the 102nd anniversary of the Party’s founding and a “July 1st” commendation conference on June 29.

On June 29, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration held a special study session for its Party Branch Theoretical Study Center Group, focusing on “continuously enhancing political, thinking, and practical capabilities,” as well as “keeping in mind the Party’s instructions, being grateful, and striving forward with determination.” The session also included a thematic discussion and exchange centered on studying and applying the exemplary cases of the “Ten Million Project” and the “Pujiang Experience.” The meeting was chaired by Zhang Guangda, Secretary of the Institute’s Party Branch, Chairman of the Board, and General Manager. All members of the Institute’s Party Branch Theoretical Study Center Group attended the session, and key heads of various departments were invited to observe.

Since General Secretary Xi Jinping sent a letter of reply to all the geological workers of the Sixth Geological Brigade of the Shandong Provincial Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources on October 2, 2022, all staff members of the Institute of Geophysical Exploration—especially Party members—have been greatly encouraged and have redoubled their efforts. The 2023 Work Conference on Party Conduct and Integrity Building of the Geophysical Exploration Institute was recently held in Chengdu. Zhang Guangda, Secretary of the Institute’s Party Branch Committee, Chairman of the Board, and General Manager, attended the conference and delivered a speech. Zou Zhongping, Deputy Secretary of the Institute’s Party Branch Committee, Member of the Discipline Inspection Commission, and Chairman of the Trade Union, presented a report titled “Focusing on Strengthening Responsibilities, Ensuring High-Quality Development, and Deepening the Promotion of Party Conduct and Integrity Building and Anti-Corruption Efforts.” Zou Zhongping chaired the meeting. Members of the Party Branch Committee, senior managers, mid-level cadres, and party members attended the conference.

In the afternoon of February 7, the 2022 annual meeting of the Party organization’s secretaries at the Institute of Geophysical Exploration—featuring reports on Party building efforts, performance and integrity assessments by the leadership team, and democratic evaluations—was held in Chengdu. A delegation of four members, including Xia Tinggao, Deputy Secretary of the Group Party Committee and Director, and Du Yan, Head of the Party Committee’s Work Department, visited the Institute of Geophysical Exploration to conduct supervision and assessment. Members of the Institute’s leadership team, members of the Party General Branch Committee, mid-level cadres, and employee representatives attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Guangda, Secretary of the Party General Branch, Chairman of the Board, and General Manager of the Institute of Geophysical Exploration.
