On November 26, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration held the fifth (expanded) study session for the Party Committee’s theoretical study group in 2025. Members of the company’s leadership team, secretaries of party branches based in Chengdu, and mid-level cadres attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Zou Zhongping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, and Chairman of the Trade Union. Yu Changheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager, delivered a concluding speech.

On November 25, in order to deeply commemorate the revolutionary martyrs and carry forward the red gene, the Geophysical Exploration Institute organized its employees to visit the Sichuan Museum and view the special exhibition “Great Victory—The Contributions of Sichuan and Chongqing: Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.” This event aims to enable employees, through immersive learning, to profoundly appreciate the tremendous sacrifices and outstanding contributions made by the sons and daughters of Sichuan and Chongqing during the War of Resistance, further engrave the history of the War of Resistance in their hearts, and rally powerful forces for forging ahead in the new era.

On October 31, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration held the fourth (expanded) study session for the Party Committee’s theoretical study group in 2025, during which participants studied and implemented the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, advanced the establishment of systems related to the rectification of inspection findings, and conveyed and studied the Group’s relevant work requirements. Members of the company’s leadership team, secretaries of Party branches based in Chengdu, heads of various departments (entities), and Party members attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Zou Zhongping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, and Chairman of the Trade Union. On September 3, a grand rally commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War was solemnly held at Tiananmen Square in Beijing. The Institute of Geophysical Exploration organized all its staff to watch the live broadcast of the rally together, collectively remembering history, honoring the martyrs, cherishing peace, and forging ahead into the future.

In order to earnestly implement the spirit of the Group’s “Notice on Launching the ‘Party Building-led, Safety-Rooted’ Series of Activities” and the Geophysical Exploration Institute’s “Three-Year Action Plan for Addressing Root Causes of Production Safety (2024-2026),” as well as to carry out the Group’s special action arrangements under the themes of “Three Transformations and Three Enhancements” and “Year of Capability Enhancement,” recently, Yu Changheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the Geophysical Exploration Institute, led a team to the Hongya 2D Seismic Exploration Project to launch the “Party Building-led, Safety-Rooted” activity.
