The Institute of Geophysical Exploration held a celebration event marking the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and a commendation conference for “July 1st.”
To celebrate the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and to inspire all Party members and cadres of the Geophysical Exploration Institute to remain true to their original aspirations, keep their mission firmly in mind, and step forward with a sense of responsibility, the Geophysical Exploration Institute held a celebration event marking the 102nd anniversary of the Party’s founding and an “July 1st” commendation conference on June 29. Members of the Party Branch Committee, the leading team, all Party members stationed in Chengdu, and prospective Party members attended the meeting.
After the solemn singing of the National Anthem, the conference honored outstanding Communist Party members, outstanding Party workers, and advanced primary-level Party organizations that had emerged during the past year’s work. Two new comrades who had just joined the Communist Party of China took a solemn oath before the Party flag.
Subsequently, Zhang Guangda, Secretary of the Party Branch Committee of the Institute, Chairman of the Board, and General Manager, delivered a vivid and insightful special Party lesson to all party members and cadres, titled “Taking Learning as the Foundation, Putting Knowledge into Practice, and Driving the Thematic Education to Yield Real Results.” Drawing on four key aspects—taking ideological study as the foundation, strengthening Party spirit as the crucial link, emphasizing practical application as the ultimate goal, and achieving new accomplishments as the fundamental point—and closely linking these principles to the actual development of the Geophysical Exploration Institute, he profoundly elucidated the significant meaning and profound implications of carrying out thematic education on studying and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. He pointed out that the new era has provided us with an even broader stage. All party members and cadres must demonstrate a sense of responsibility by being willing to take action, possess the ability to get things done effectively, master the skills needed to achieve success, and uphold the bottom line of avoiding mistakes. They should strive to become pragmatic doers, dedicated fighters, and relentless pioneers in the new era, genuinely transforming the outcomes of thematic education into a powerful driving force for performing all tasks well, accelerating the high-quality development of the Geophysical Exploration Institute, and vigorously writing a new chapter for resource geophysical exploration in Sichuan Province.
