The meeting conveyed the Group’s arrangements for deeply implementing the spirit of the Central Government’s Eight-Point Regulation and adopted the Institute’s work plan for study and education. This initiative aims to actively respond to the call from the Party Central Committee and further strengthen the sense of discipline and style of work among all Party members and cadres within the company.

On September 15, in accordance with the unified deployment and arrangement of the Party Committee of the Group, the leadership team of the Geophysical Exploration Institute convened a special democratic life meeting focused on studying and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and on rectifying issues identified during the inspection. Li Shirong, a member of the Group’s Party Committee and Chief Engineer, along with heads of relevant departments from the headquarters, attended the meeting to provide guidance. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Guangda, Secretary of the Party Branch, Chairman of the Board, and General Manager of the Geophysical Exploration Institute.

To further promote the in-depth and practical implementation of the thematic education on studying and applying Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and to foster deeper integration between the institute’s discipline inspection and supervision work and its core business activities, from June 2 to 3, Zou Zhongping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch Committee, Member of the Discipline Inspection Committee, and Chairman of the Trade Union; and Gu Zhiwen, Member of the Party Branch Committee, Deputy General Manager, and Chief Engineer, led staff from the Party and Mass Work Department and the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Office to conduct thorough research and on-site supervision and inspection at the institute’s key project—the Chongqing Yuxi Project. They gained a clear understanding of the project’s implementation status and the oversight efforts carried out by relevant functional departments, extending the reach of supervision directly to the project site and making every effort to ensure that this key project is advanced efficiently and with integrity.

To thoroughly carry out the thematic education on studying and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and to promote in-depth and practical theoretical study, on May 23, the Party Branch Committee of the Sichuan Institute of Resource Geophysics organized more than 20 participants—including members of the institute’s leadership team, secretaries of various Party branches, and representative Party members—to follow in the footsteps of General Secretary Xi Jinping and visit the Sansu Temple and Yongfeng Village in Meishan City for on-site thematic education. This initiative aims to guide Party members and cadres to firmly grasp the overarching requirements of “studying thought, strengthening Party spirit, emphasizing practice, and making new achievements,” thereby further uniting their efforts and inspiring them to forge ahead with determination.
