Follow in the Footsteps of the General Secretary’s Struggle

To deepen the study and education on Party history, as well as to learn the spirit of the 19th National Congress and Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, on October 14, Zhang Guangda, Secretary of the Party Branch Committee of the Geophysical Exploration Company, Yu Changheng, Deputy General Manager, and other relevant personnel visited Liangjiahe Village in Yanchuan County, Shaanxi Province—where General Secretary Xi Jinping once served as a young intellectual—and carried out a red-themed study-and-research activity entitled “Tracing the Footsteps of Our Leader’s Struggle and Deeply Reflecting on Our Original Aspirations and Mission.”

怀着无比崇敬和钦佩的心情，大家先后在知青井、梁家河村史馆和总书记当年居住过的土窑洞、带领群众修建的沼气池、办的代销店、缝纫社等地，了解梁家河村的发展历程，回望总书记在这七年知青岁月中，是如何经过“五关”考验，真正从繁华大城市的“北京娃”变成贫瘠黄土高原的“村里娃”。一处处旧址、一件件实物、一幅幅图片，让我们身临其境地看到了一位扎根社会底层、深谙底层人民疾苦，在逆境中成长、在磨砺中脱胎换骨，从不向命运低头、敢想敢闯敢拼的时代优秀青年的身影，展现了一位时刻心系群众，矢志不渝为民谋幸福的党和国家最高领袖的崇高形象。

On this yellow earth deeply cherished by the General Secretary, everyone has been exploring the roots of his commitment to “serving the people wholeheartedly,” reflecting on his original aspiration—“loving the people from the bottom of his heart and keeping them always in his mind”—and experiencing his spirit of diligence, eagerness to learn, and relentless drive. Both body and mind have undergone a profound test and purification.
