On March 31, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration held an expanded Party Committee meeting to thoroughly study, educate on, and deploy measures for implementing the spirit of the Central Government’s Eight-Point Regulation. The meeting conveyed the Group’s arrangements for deeply implementing the spirit of the Central Government’s Eight-Point Regulation and adopted the Institute’s work plan for study and education. This initiative aims to actively respond to the call from the Party Central Committee and further strengthen the sense of discipline and style of work among all Party members and cadres within the company.
Meeting requirements
First, we must study the rules and regulations diligently to strengthen our awareness. We should combine self-study with centralized learning, and earnestly study and thoroughly grasp General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important remarks on strengthening the Party’s work style as well as the spirit of the Central Committee’s Eight-Point Regulation and its detailed implementation rules. We must read the original texts carefully, study the original words meticulously, and deeply comprehend the underlying principles, ensuring that we truly understand them profoundly, integrate them seamlessly, and internalize the spirit of the Central Committee’s Eight-Point Regulation so that it becomes firmly rooted in our minds and hearts.
Second, we must identify gaps and pinpoint shortcomings to thoroughly address existing problems. We should adhere to benchmarking and alignment, conduct comprehensive and in-depth problem identification, deeply examine and analyze the root causes of these problems, carry out cautionary education, and deepen our efforts to illustrate moral principles, disciplinary rules, legal provisions, and accountability through specific cases.
Third, we must rigorously implement reforms, enforce practical governance, and drive continuous improvement. We should address whatever problems arise, establish a ledger-based management and rectification mechanism, and combine “immediate corrections” with “long-term institutionalization,” ensuring that problems do not rebound and that the results are sustainable.
