Reprint | Introduction to the Key Sections of Volume II of “Selected Works of Xi Jinping”
The “Selected Works of Xi Jinping,” edited by the Editorial Committee for Documents of the CPC Central Committee, opens with General Secretary Xi Jinping’s report to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, “Upholding the Great Banner of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics and Striving Together to Fully Build a Modern Socialist Country.” The remaining works are arranged chronologically. Volume II contains important writings by General Secretary Xi Jinping from October 2017 to October 2022, comprising a total of 75 documents—including reports, speeches, talks, addresses, and instructions—some of which are being made public for the first time. The following is an introduction to the key selections from Volume II of “Selected Works of Xi Jinping.”

Members of the Institute’s Party Branch Theoretical Study Center Group attended the meeting, which was chaired by Zhang Guangda, Secretary of the Institute’s Party Branch, Chairman of the Board, and General Manager.

The “Selected Works of Xi Jinping,” edited by the Editorial Committee for Documents of the CPC Central Committee, opens with General Secretary Xi Jinping’s report to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, titled “Upholding the Great Banner of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics and Striving Together to Fully Build a Modern Socialist Country.” The remaining works are arranged in chronological order. On April 17, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration held a mobilization and deployment meeting for the thematic education campaign to study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. Attending the meeting were members of the Institute’s leadership team, members of the Party General Branch Committee, and Party members based in Chengdu. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Guangda, Secretary of the Party General Branch, Chairman of the Board, and General Manager of the Institute of Geophysical Exploration.
