On the morning of July 14, the Geophysical Exploration Company organized a special study session in its conference room for Party members, prospective Party members, secretaries of grassroots Party branches, and mid-level cadres. From September 20 to 28, 1955, the National Conference of Young Socialist Construction Activists was held in Beijing. Zhou Enlai specially inscribed a message for the conference: “Strive hard and never fear difficulties.” Under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, young people across the country were widely mobilized and organized.
