On November 4, the Party Branch Committee of the Geophysical Exploration Institute held a special seminar in Chengdu to study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. The seminar was attended by a total of 30 people, including the institute’s leadership team based in Chengdu, all party members, and representatives of those actively seeking to join the Party.

On November 1, Guo Jian, Secretary-General of the Chinese Geophysical Society, and Xue Guoqiang, Deputy Secretary-General, led an expert research team to Sichuan Zhongcheng Coalfield Geophysical Exploration Engineering Institute Co., Ltd. to conduct on-site inspections and surveys regarding the Institute’s application for designation as a “Pilot Unit for Science and Technology Promotion by the Chinese Geophysical Society” and its leading role in establishing the “Sichuan Office of the Chinese Geophysical Society.”

On October 25, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration attended the first session of the Group’s Trade Union Members’ Congress and the Election Conference for Delegates to the Employees’ Congress, held in Chengdu. A total of 60 trade union members, including Zhang Guangda, Secretary of the Party Branch Committee, Chairman of the Board, and General Manager of the Institute of Geophysical Exploration, participated in the election conference. The conference was chaired by Zou Zhongping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch Committee, Member of the Discipline Inspection Commission, and Chairman of the Trade Union.
