On November 18, the seminar on the application research of new geophysical exploration methods for deep mineral exploration, jointly organized by the Institute of Geophysical Exploration and Xinsun Mining, was held in Conference Room 2015 of Xinsun Mining Company. Li Shirong, member of the Party Committee and Chief Engineer of the Group, and Yang Yongpeng, Head of the Mining Technology Department of the Group, attended the meeting to provide guidance. Also in attendance were Shen Huanhua, Deputy General Manager of Xinsun Mining; Chen Genghu, Chief Engineer of Xinsun Mining; Yu Changheng, Deputy General Manager and CFO of the Institute of Geophysical Exploration; Gu Zhiwen, Deputy General Manager and Chief Engineer of the Institute; as well as heads of relevant departments and experts from both sides.

To further promote the in-depth study and implementation of the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, on November 23, the Party and Mass Work Department of the Geophysical Exploration Institute carried out an activity at the H3 Platform in Changning—specifically, at the project office for the wide-area electromagnetic method research and development trial aimed at detecting the target strata after pressure relief—to publicize and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress within the project team.

The “Geological Survey System Based on Multi-Dimensional Electromagnetic Method Integrating Air-Ground-Well Data,” jointly developed by the Institute of Geophysical Exploration and Chengdu University of Technology, has been granted a national invention patent. This achievement not only fully recognizes the Institute’s R&D capabilities but also exemplifies the innovative spirit of win-win cooperation between the two parties.

On November 18, 2022, Zou Zhongping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch, Member of the Discipline Inspection Committee, and Chairman of the Trade Union of the Geophysical Exploration Institute, attended, as a representative of grassroots trade union workers, the symposium on the comprehensive implementation of the main responsibility for strict Party governance in the trade union system, organized by the Sichuan Provincial Federation of Trade Unions at the headquarters of the Sichuan Natural Resources Investment Group. He also presented a work report on the Geophysical Exploration Institute to the research team.

Sichuan Resources Geophysical Exploration Holds a Strategic Development Seminar
On November 10, the Sichuan Resource Geophysical Exploration Development Strategy Seminar was held in Chengdu. The seminar aimed to further discuss and formulate development plans for the next five years and beyond, taking into account the current status of the Geophysical Exploration Institute’s development. Attending the meeting were members of the Institute’s leadership team, experts, heads of various departments, and representatives of project managers. The meeting was chaired by Yu Changheng, Deputy General Manager and Chief Financial Officer of the Geophysical Exploration Institute.
