The Geophysical Exploration Institute held a special meeting to implement the spirit of the 32nd Party Committee (expanded) Meeting of the Group.

On the morning of December 1, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration held a special meeting to implement the spirit of the 32nd Meeting of the Party Committee (Expanded) of the Group. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Guangda, Secretary of the Institute’s Party Branch, Chairman of the Board, and General Manager. Members of the Institute’s Party Branch Committee, members of the leadership team, heads of entities and departments, and employee representatives attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Zhang Guangda led the participants in a focused study of the spirit of the speech delivered by Xu Zhiwen, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Group, at the Group’s 32nd Party Committee (Expanded) Meeting. In his speech, Chairman Xu conveyed the important instructions and requirements from the provincial Party committee and provincial government leaders regarding in-depth study and implementation of the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and studying the key documents issued by the Central Committee. He shared four personal insights, outlined working ideas across five key areas, set forth five expectations for “taking the lead and setting an example,” and prompted profound reflections on seven specific issues. Chairman Xu’s speech was characterized by clear thinking, well-defined goals, high expectations, and inspiring motivation; it serves as a guiding document for promoting high-quality development across all units of the Group. Subsequently, members of the Party Branch Committee of the Institute, members of the leadership team, and the head of the Party and Mass Work Department shared their learning experiences in light of Chairman Xu’s remarks and the Institute’s actual situation. All participants unanimously agreed that Chairman Xu’s speech demonstrated a high political stance, accurately analyzed issues in light of the Group’s realities, clearly articulated the Group’s future development vision and path, and greatly boosted everyone’s confidence and determination to work and achieve success. Moving forward, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration will continue to thoroughly implement and carry out all arrangements and deployments made by the Group, ensuring their effective execution in concrete work tasks.

Zhang Guangda made arrangements and implemented key tasks in six areas as assigned by Jiang Tao, Deputy Secretary of the Group Party Committee and General Manager: strengthening epidemic prevention and control, ensuring the completion of targets and tasks, focusing on major projects, following up on the second phase of reform, planning next year’s work effectively, and ensuring team stability and safe production.

Zhang Guangda stated that the Group’s 32nd Party Committee (expanded) meeting was of great significance and has given us a “boost of confidence.” In the work ahead, we must stay firmly focused on our goals, make every effort to accelerate our pace, and resolutely win the final battle at the end of the year.

First, continue studying, publicizing, and implementing the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Party and the spirit of the Second Plenary Session of the 12th Provincial Party Committee. Adhere to the integration of study and application, and the unity of knowledge and practice, closely aligning with the actual work of the Group and the Institute, and ensure comprehensive implementation and thorough execution.

Second, with only one month remaining until the end of this year, the hospital has largely achieved its targets for operating revenue and profit. However, continued efforts are still needed to meet the targets in Party building, safety, and quality.

Third, we must intensify the evaluation and assessment of all hospital staff members’ work performance. We should rigorously implement the hospital’s management system, conduct quantitative assessments in accordance with the target responsibility agreements signed at the beginning of the year, and ensure that rewards and punishments are duly administered. This will help ignite the enthusiasm of our cadres and employees to take on challenges and achieve success, fostering a strong atmosphere of striving for excellence.

Fourth, we will continue to deepen the outcomes of the institute’s strategic development研讨. On November 10, the institute held a strategic development seminar, calling for the preparation of special reports covering ten areas—including geophysical exploration, deep-seated metallic mineral prospecting and exploration, water conservation qualifications, business operations, and software development—and scheduling their review by the end of December to guide next year’s development direction. At the same time, we will further refine and implement the materials from the upcoming group-wide extensive discussion, ensuring that we plan ahead, focus on the institute’s core technologies, and execute effectively, thus laying out a solid foundation for the high-quality development of the Geophysical Exploration Institute.
