Embarking on a New Journey, Looking Forward to a Brighter Future | The Geophysical Exploration Institute Participates in the Group’s First Arts Festival

On December 27, the Geophysical Exploration Institute organized all staff and workers to collectively watch the first anniversary celebration of the Sichuan Natural Resources Investment Group and the group's inaugural cultural performance themed "Study the 20th National Congress, Always Follow the Party, and Strive Forward on a New Journey."

To present high-quality performances and showcase the best image of Sichuan’s geophysical exploration personnel at the cultural gala, following the group’s unified deployment, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration has been actively organizing staff members for rehearsals since September. Over the past three months, the cadres and employees participating in the rehearsals have overcome various challenges—including those posed by the pandemic and operational production—ultimately delivering a flawless performance for this cultural gala.

In the program, the geophysical exploration team, brimming with enthusiasm and dancing with utmost passion, showcased how Sichuan’s resource explorers have been tirelessly searching for mineral resources for our motherland—from the Bashu region to the north and south of the Tian Shan Mountains, crossing towering mountains and traversing deserts, leaving their footprints far and wide both inside and outside the Great Wall. Through their perspective, the program paints a beautiful picture of a China under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, where people of all ethnic groups across the country live in unity and harmony, enjoying prosperity and abundance, and making continuous strides toward civilization and progress—a vivid testament to the enduring vitality and flourishing of ethnic solidarity on Chinese soil.

When our performance came to a successful close, all our colleagues in the audience burst into cheers together. All our hard work had paid off—our efforts had finally been rewarded. During the performance, everyone was fully immersed and deeply committed. As one team with a shared goal, we influenced and inspired each other. When each of us takes ownership and feels like an integral part of the team, our collective strength becomes truly formidable. In this cultural gala, I could feel everyone’s deep love for our group—a big family. Some colleagues even participated despite being unwell. With such a spirit of dedication and perseverance, our team will be invincible in every challenge!

The group’s first-ever literary and artistic gala has now come to a graceful close. As a “small player” who took part in it, I was deeply impressed. Although our dance performance on stage lasted only three minutes, we had spent an entire three months rehearsing—quite a grueling effort for everyone involved. Through this experience, I truly felt the sense of responsibility and cohesion within the group: only through hard work and dedication can we achieve success.

This is the first time I’ve participated in a group performance. During rehearsals, my colleagues enthusiastically helped me improve, allowing me to experience the power of teamwork and a deep sense of pride and honor. This has motivated me even more to work harder and successfully complete this performance task. I used to be someone who easily gave up and shied away when faced with difficulties. But after this performance, I’ve come to truly appreciate the satisfaction that comes from overcoming challenges—and it’s reinforced my inner resolve to bravely move forward. Against the backdrop of the pandemic, my colleagues have maintained an optimistic, proactive, and positive attitude as they approached this performance, profoundly influencing and inspiring me. Following closely in their footsteps, I’ve managed to complete this task admirably.

This performance left a deep impression on me. From organization to rehearsal, from individual efforts to collective teamwork—plus the impact of the pandemic—it was truly a journey fraught with challenges. Everyone poured in their time and energy with great dedication, and I could clearly feel the unity and solidarity among all participants. As the saying goes, “Effort never betrays those who are sincere.” In the end, the successful and fulfilling performance made everyone realize that all their hard work had been well worth it. Finally, on the occasion of this successful performance, I would like to extend my heartfelt wishes: under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, may our country continue to prosper and flourish!
