The Institute of Geophysical Exploration held its fourth-quarter staff meeting as well as a kickoff meeting for the “Extensive Study, Extensive Research, and Extensive Discussion” campaign.
On December 30, 2022, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration held its fourth-quarter staff meeting and a kickoff meeting for the “Extensive Study, Extensive Research, and Extensive Discussion” campaign in Chengdu. Attending the meeting were members of the Party Branch Committee of the Institute, the leadership team, senior managers, and all staff members working in Chengdu. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Guangda, Secretary of the Institute’s Party Branch Committee, Chairman of the Board, and General Manager.
The meeting focused on studying General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions and directives on state-owned enterprises, Xi Jinping’s reply to all geological workers of the Sixth Geological Team of the Shandong Provincial Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources, the Communiqué of the Second Plenary Session of the 12th Provincial Committee of the CPC in Sichuan Province, an in-depth interpretation of the spirit of the Second Plenary Session of the 12th Provincial Committee, and the Provisional Measures for the Supervision and Management of Official Consumption Behaviors of Heads of State-Owned Enterprises.
At the meeting, members of the institute’s leadership team, heads of functional departments, representatives from management departments, and employee representatives—drawing on the Group’s “Large-Scale Study, Research, and Discussion” initiative focused on “Strategic Development, Reform and Development, and Innovative Development”—carefully analyzed and discussed the institute’s development environment, as well as the opportunities and challenges it faces. The discussions centered on further liberating thinking, combining demolition with establishment, adopting new methods and tools to adapt to emerging changes, and covered such areas as strategic development, industrial structure, institutional improvement, compensation systems, human resource planning, scientific and technological innovation, technical quality, and safety production management. Participants also exchanged views on strategic and directional issues as well as specific contradictions encountered in their daily work.
Subsequently, the meeting distributed questionnaires to widely collect opinions and suggestions from all staff members of the hospital regarding the group’s and the company’s development.
Zhang Guangda summarized the Party building and integrity-building efforts, as well as the院’s work in operations, finance, safe production, and technical quality, for the entire year. He also made arrangements and deployments for the next steps, drawing on the “Extensive Study, In-depth Investigation, and Broad Discussion” campaign.
He emphasized that all cadres and staff of the institute should closely integrate the study and implementation of the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Party, the spirit of the 12th Provincial Party Congress, the outcomes of the first and second plenary sessions of the 12th Provincial Party Committee of Sichuan Province, and the Group’s “Strategic Development, Reform and Development, and Innovative Development” campaign—a large-scale study, research, and discussion initiative—into their daily work. They should strictly follow the work plan and overall deployment, carefully organize activities, make scientific plans, and strengthen implementation. It is crucial to seamlessly integrate these activities with the advancement of ongoing key tasks and the high-standard completion of annual goals and targets. By delivering a satisfactory performance to the Group, we will also lay a solid foundation for achieving new strides in next year’s development.
