Rose-scented books—reading brings ever more beauty.
To foster a harmonious corporate culture and demonstrate humanistic care, the Women’s Committee of the Geophysical Exploration Institute organized a reading and knowledge quiz activity for all female employees under the theme “Roses and Books—Joyful Reading and Sharing,” enabling all female colleagues to spend the annual “March 8 International Women’s Day” in a relaxed and joyful atmosphere. The event received an enthusiastic response and active participation from all female employees of the Institute.

On the afternoon of February 7, the 2022 annual meeting of the Institute of Geophysical Exploration—featuring reports on Party building by party organization secretaries, performance and integrity reports by the leadership team, and democratic evaluations—was held in Chengdu. A delegation of four members, including Xia Tinggao, Deputy Secretary of the Group Party Committee and Director, and Du Yan, Head of the Party Committee’s Work Department, came to the Institute of Geophysical Exploration to conduct supervision and assessment. Members of the Institute’s leadership team, members of the Party General Branch Committee, mid-level cadres, and employee representatives attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Guangda, Secretary of the Party General Branch, Chairman of the Board, and General Manager of the Institute of Geophysical Exploration.

At the study class for provincial-level leading cadres and principal officials at the municipal level on studying and implementing the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Xiaohui emphasized the need to translate the decisions and deployments of the 20th CPC National Congress into concrete actions in Sichuan and strive to write a splendid chapter for Chinese-style modernization in Sichuan. On January 13, 2023, Luo Yi, a senior expert from the North China Oil & Gas Branch of Sinopec and deputy director of the Petroleum Engineering Technology Research Institute, along with an inspection and research team composed of representatives from the Institute’s Production and Technology Office, the Institute’s Safety and Environmental Protection Research Institute, and the Institute’s Reservoir Modification Research Institute, visited the Wide-Area Electromagnetic Fracturing Monitoring R&D Base of the Sichuan Resource Geophysical Exploration Institute for an inspection and research visit.
