The Qingyang District Federation of Trade Unions conducted a work exchange visit to the Sichuan Institute of Resource Geophysics.
On the morning of March 9, Peng Hua, member of the Party Leadership Group of the Qingyang District Federation of Trade Unions and Secretary of the Organs’ Party Committee, along with Ye Bing, Vice Chairman of the Caotang Subdistrict Federation of Trade Unions, and their delegation, visited the Sichuan Institute of Geophysical Exploration to conduct a working exchange. Zhang Guangda, Secretary of the Party Branch, Chairman of the Board, and General Manager of the Institute, as well as other members of the institute’s leadership team based in Chengdu, attended the exchange.
As the local trade union and the most basic administrative unit affiliated with the Institute of Geophysical Exploration, the Qingyang District Federation of Trade Unions and Caotang Subdistrict can coordinate the trade union work and other related activities of enterprises and institutions within the region in the most direct and effective manner. They can represent the interests of all employees in their interactions with local administrative authorities and participate in the conceptualization and formulation of socio-economic development plans for this region.
Peng Hua and his delegation toured some of the advanced instruments and equipment at the Geophysical Exploration Institute and watched a promotional video showcasing the institute’s work. At the subsequent exchange seminar, Zou Zhongping, Deputy Secretary of the Institute’s Party Branch, Member of the Discipline Inspection Committee, and Chairman of the Trade Union, provided an overview of the institute’s basic situation, production and business management, technological innovation, and trade union activities.
Peng Hua expressed his appreciation for the remarkable achievements made by the Geophysical Exploration Institute in all its endeavors, and said that this visit had been highly rewarding. He hoped that in the future, the two sides would strengthen their communication and exchanges even further, learning from each other’s best practices. He also welcomed the employees of the Geophysical Exploration Institute to join the district trade union. In addition, the district trade union and Caotang Subdistrict will provide active support to the Geophysical Exploration Institute by leveraging relevant resources in areas such as enterprise star-rating assessments, technological innovation, and employee care, working together to build the “Outstanding Qingyang Enterprise” brand.
