On January 21, the highly anticipated "First China International Green Mining Conference 2023," which has drawn nationwide attention, was grandly held in Beijing. At this international academic event, hosted by the Zhongguancun Green Mining Industry Alliance, numerous outstanding technological innovations and exceptional talents were showcased and recognized. Among them, the project titled "Innovative Technologies and Applications for Multi-Scale Electromagnetic Exploration of Deep Mineral Resources," submitted by the Institute of Geophysical Exploration, stood out from the crowd and won the First Prize of the "National 2023 Green Mining Science and Technology Progress Award."

On January 17, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration held its 2024 Expert Symposium in Chengdu. The symposium was attended by geology and geophysical exploration experts hired by the institute, as well as members of the institute’s leadership team, heads of relevant departments, and some newly recruited young employees. The symposium was chaired by Zhang Guangda, Secretary of the Institute’s Party Branch Committee, Chairman of the Board, and General Manager.

On December 21, Sichuan Natural Resources Investment Group Geophysical Exploration Institute Co., Ltd. held an exchange and discussion meeting in the Geophysical Exploration Institute’s conference room with a delegation led by Li Bo, Secretary of the Party Branch and Deputy General Manager of Sichuan Jinhua Geological Exploration Engineering Co., Ltd.; Zhang Zhong, Member of the Party Branch and Deputy General Manager; and Chen Yunwei, Member of the Party Branch and Chief Engineer. From December 17 to 18, the Geophysical Exploration Institute participated in the 2023 Sichuan Provincial Workers' Vocational Skills Competition and the inaugural Sichuan Natural Resources Investment Group Workers' Vocational Skills Competition. The competition was co-organized by the Sichuan Provincial Federation of Trade Unions and the Sichuan Natural Resources Investment Group, with the Sichuan Natural Resources Investment Group Trade Union serving as the organizer. The Geophysical Exploration Institute, Surveying and Mapping Company, Huafeng Drilling, and Geological and Mineral Materials Company provided support.
