On the morning of March 4, the Party Committee of the Geophysical Exploration Institute held its 2024 democratic life meeting for party member leading cadres. Li Shirong, a member of the Group Party Committee and Chief Engineer, along with Bai Changzheng, Deputy Director of the Party Committee’s Organization Department, attended the meeting to provide guidance. The leadership team of the Geophysical Exploration Institute and members of the Party Committee also participated. The meeting was chaired by Yu Changheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the Geophysical Exploration Institute.

On February 24, the Group held its 2025 Work Conference on Party Building, Integrity and Anti-Corruption. Luo Zhibo, Secretary of the Group’s Party Committee and Chairman of the Board, attended and delivered a speech. Jiang Tao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Board, and General Manager, presided over the meeting. Yang Limin, Deputy Secretary of the Group’s Party Committee and Director, presented the report on Party building work. Tu Xiaozhong, Head of the Group’s Discipline Inspection and Supervision Team, Member of the Group’s Party Committee, and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, delivered the report on integrity and anti-corruption efforts.

The plenary session thoroughly studied and implemented Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, fully carried out the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Party as well as the Second and Third Plenary Sessions of the 20th Central Committee, and earnestly implemented the guiding principles of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, especially the important speech delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping. In accordance with the deployment requirements of the Provincial Party Committee, the session summarized the discipline inspection and supervision work of 2024, laid out tasks for 2025, and reviewed and adopted the work report titled “Deepening the Building of Party Integrity and Fighting Corruption to Provide Strong Guarantees for Further Deepening Comprehensive Reform and Striving to Write a New Chapter for Sichuan’s Modernization in the Chinese Style,” presented by Comrade Liao Jianyu on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection.

On January 14, the Fourth Plenary Session of the 12th Discipline Inspection Commission of the Communist Party of China in Sichuan Province was held in Chengdu. Wang Xiaohui, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. He emphasized the need to thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important thoughts on Party building and his important thoughts on the Party’s self-revolution, fully carry out the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, and uphold the spirit of reform and strict standards in governing the Party. We must promote simultaneously efforts to ensure that officials dare not be corrupt, cannot be corrupt, and have no desire to be corrupt, and unswervingly push forward the building of Party conduct and integrity as well as the fight against corruption, thereby providing strong guarantees for writing a new chapter of Chinese-style modernization in Sichuan.
