Deepen exchange on fracture monitoring and jointly promote the advancement of oil and gas development monitoring technologies.

On February 12, Gu Zhiwen, a member of the Party Branch Committee of the Geophysical Exploration Institute, Deputy General Manager, and Chief Engineer, led a team to Hunan Jishan Hi-Tech Co., Ltd. for an exchange on fracturing monitoring technology. Yan Xiaohua, Executive Deputy General Manager of Jishan Hi-Tech, joined the meeting along with the fracturing monitoring interpretation team. Zhang Guangda, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the Sichuan Provincial Geophysical Society, and Yu Changheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch Committee and General Manager of the Geophysical Exploration Institute, participated via video conference. The meeting focused on current technological shortcomings in fracturing monitoring, enhancing services to meet client needs, addressing technical challenges, as well as an in-depth discussion on the Geophysical Exploration Institute’s regional fracturing monitoring projects for 2024 and future development directions for fracturing monitoring.
