Good News | The Institute of Geophysical Exploration Secures Consecutive Project Awards
Recently, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration has continuously reported good news, having successively won bids for the audio magnetotelluric survey project in the preliminary survey phase of a plateau railway renovation project and the survey and design package for the tourist navigation channel construction project along the Fuxi River’s Ziliujing section.
A certain plateau railway renovation project is located in southeastern Tibet. The railway line traverses the southern Tibetan valley situated between the Gangdise Mountains, the Nyenchen Tanggula Mountains, and the Himalayas. Over 90% of the route lies at an elevation above 3,000 meters, with the highest point reaching 3,700 meters and a maximum elevation difference of 2,500 meters. The audio magnetotelluric surveys undertaken by the Geophysical Exploration Institute will provide crucial geophysical data for railway route planning, thereby contributing to the construction of a high-quality railway project.
The Fuxi River Self-Flowing Well Section Tourism Waterway Construction Project (Survey and Design Package) aims to tap into the tourism resources along the Fuxi River’s Self-Flowing Well section in Zigong City. By winning this bid, the Geophysical Exploration Institute will leverage its professional strengths to conduct a comprehensive survey of the waterway’s geological conditions and aquatic environment, providing geophysical technical support for subsequent design work and helping to create an attractive cultural and tourism-oriented waterway landscape.
Next, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration will uphold the principles of professionalism and innovation, go all out to overcome challenges in project implementation, and demonstrate its sense of responsibility and commitment through concrete actions, thereby contributing to the development of national infrastructure and the prosperity of the cultural and tourism industries.
