On November 21, immediately after the conclusion of the Group’s 46th Party Committee (expanded) Meeting for 2023, the Geophysical Exploration Institute promptly convened a special meeting to convey the spirit of the meeting at the earliest opportunity. The purpose was to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 12th Provincial Party Committee as well as the important instructions and requirements issued by provincial and group leaders.

On September 15, in accordance with the unified deployment and arrangement of the Party Committee of the Group, the leadership team of the Geophysical Exploration Institute convened a special democratic life meeting focused on studying and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and on rectifying issues identified during the inspection. Li Shirong, a member of the Group’s Party Committee and Chief Engineer, along with heads of relevant departments from the headquarters, attended the meeting to provide guidance. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Guangda, Secretary of the Party Branch, Chairman of the Board, and General Manager of the Geophysical Exploration Institute.

On August 8, the provincial Party committee’s theoretical study group held a special study session to focus on studying and discussing the important instructions delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping during his inspection tour of Sichuan. Wang Xiaohui, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, chaired the meeting and took the lead in sharing his insights and experiences. He emphasized that we must further deepen our understanding and grasp of these instructions, unify our thinking and awareness, and truly transform the heartfelt expectations of our leader into a powerful driving force for our work. We should steadily and step by step turn the grand blueprint outlined by the General Secretary for Sichuan into a beautiful reality.

On July 31, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration held a special study session for the Party Branch’s theoretical study center group, focusing on “accurately grasping the Chinese characteristics, essential requirements, and major principles of Chinese-style modernization.” The meeting was chaired by Zhang Guangda, Secretary of the Institute’s Party Branch, Chairman of the Board, and General Manager. All members of the Institute’s Party Branch theoretical study center group attended the session, and the head of the Party and Mass Work Department was invited to observe.
