On June 3, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration and Hunan Jishan High-Tech Co., Ltd. held a signing ceremony in Chengdu, Sichuan, for the joint establishment of the Geophysical Innovation Center and the Southwest Processing and Interpretation Center for Oil-and-Gas Electromagnetic Fracturing Monitoring. Over the past decade, the two parties have collaborated closely, achieving remarkable results in areas such as equipment development, software innovation, and academic research, thereby providing solid support for the development of industries including oil-and-gas exploration.

On May 29, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration held a technical exchange seminar with the Shale Gas Exploration and Development Project Department of Chuanqing Drilling Company. The two sides engaged in an in-depth discussion on topics including secondary development and densification well exploration for shale gas wells, gas-water identification, and fracture monitoring in the oil and gas sector. By highlighting key technological breakthroughs, they directly addressed the pain points in oil and gas exploration and development, and jointly promoted the innovative application of electromagnetic technologies.
