Caring for the frontline of the project—“Coolness” deeply touches people’s hearts.
To effectively carry out heat-prevention and cooling measures for employees in 2025, on July 2, Yu Changheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the institute, led a team to the Hongya 2D seismic project to launch a “Summer Coolness Delivery” care initiative, bringing warmth and relief to every frontline employee working on the project.

At the project site, the working group engaged in face-to-face discussions with frontline workers to gain a firsthand understanding of the progress of various project tasks and the challenges encountered during construction. They carefully inquired about the workers’ living and accommodation conditions and listened attentively to their concerns and requests. At the same time, they urged the project manager to ensure robust logistical support to safeguard the workers’ safety and health. Zou Zhongping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, and Chairman of the Trade Union, personally delivered carefully prepared heat-prevention and cooling supplies as well as medicines to the workers, reminding them to heighten their self-protection awareness during the flood season and when snakes and other venomous creatures are more active. He also emphasized that the project team should proactively carry out relevant preventive measures. The workers present expressed their deep gratitude for this thoughtful care, saying it had deeply touched them and given them even greater motivation to overcome all kinds of difficulties and contribute their utmost efforts to completing the project work with high quality and efficiency.

This “Summer Coolness Delivery” care initiative is not only a form of material support but also a source of spiritual encouragement. It fully demonstrates the Geophysical Exploration Institute’s concern and care for frontline employees, and underscores its commitment to creating a safe working environment for all staff, ensuring that project construction can proceed smoothly and safely even under high-temperature conditions.
