To vigorously promote the great spirit of Party building and thoroughly implement the spirit of the Central Committee’s Eight-Point Regulation, the Party Committee of the Geophysical Exploration Institute held a celebration marking the 104th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and an “July 1st” commendation conference on June 30 in Chengdu. The leadership team of the Geophysical Exploration Institute and all Party members stationed in Chengdu attended the meeting.

After the solemn singing of the National Anthem, the conference honored outstanding Communist Party members, outstanding Party workers, and advanced primary-level Party organizations that had emerged during the past year’s work. Three new comrades who had just joined the Communist Party of China took a solemn oath before the Party flag.

Subsequently, Yu Changheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the Geophysical Exploration Institute, delivered a special Party class on studying and implementing the spirit of the Central Government’s Eight-Point Regulation, titled “Thoroughly Implementing the Spirit of the Central Government’s Eight-Point Regulation to Empower High-Quality Development of State-Owned Enterprises.” He called on all Party members and cadres to integrate the spirit of the regulation into operational management and enhance the competitiveness of enterprises; standardize project bidding procedures to create a fair and competitive environment; strictly control reception expenses and regulate official and business activities; strengthen integrity education to solidify ideological defenses; and optimize governance structures to support the reform and development of state-owned enterprises. Furthermore, drawing on the actual situation of the Geophysical Exploration Institute, he explained the spirit of the Seventh Plenary Session of the 12th Provincial Party Committee. He emphasized three key points: First, break down “professional silos” and make the necessary mental leap from “geological exploration” to “cultural and tourism scenarios”; second, seize “cross-sector opportunities” and identify technological anchors within the integrated cultural and tourism value chain; third, establish a “value coordinate system” and engage in the construction of the cultural and tourism integration ecosystem with a technology-driven mindset.
