As the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day are fast approaching, on the morning of September 28, the Party Branch Committee and the Trade Union of the Geophysical Exploration Institute organized a unique “Celebrating National Day, Joyfully Welcoming the Mid-Autumn Festival” fun fair in the public areas of the institute’s office complex. All staff and workers in Chengdu participated, and the atmosphere at the event was lively and enthusiastic.

For the first time, the Geophysical Exploration Institute of Sichuan Resources Group has been recognized as a “Specialized, Sophisticated, and New SME in Sichuan Province.”

The Institute of Geophysical Exploration held its employee conference for the third quarter of 2023.
At 7 p.m. on September 22, the 2023 third-quarter staff meeting of the Institute of Geophysical Exploration was held in Chengdu. This marked the first time since the establishment of the Institute that a staff meeting had been scheduled for the evening. The meeting was conducted via video link from the main venue in Chengdu to various project offices located in Yibin, Gulin, Chongqing, Guangdong, and North China. Zhang Guangda, Party Branch Secretary, Chairman of the Board, and General Manager of the Institute, along with other members of the leadership team, attended the meeting at the Yibin Wide-Area Electromagnetic Project Office and the Gulin Dacun Project Office, respectively. The meeting was chaired by Zou Zhongping, Deputy Secretary of the Institute’s Party Branch, Member of the Discipline Inspection Committee, and Chairman of the Trade Union, and was attended by all cadres and employees of the Institute.

From September 16 to September 18, the Sichuan Office of the Chinese Geophysical Society, the awarding and unveiling ceremony for the pilot units of science and technology promotion by the Chinese Geophysical Society, and the conference on the exchange of geophysical technology applications were held in Chengdu. The conference was co-organized by the Chinese Geophysical Society, Sichuan Natural Resources Investment Group Co., Ltd., and Chengdu University of Technology. Di Qingyun, President of the Chinese Geophysical Society and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Lin Jun, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, attended the awarding ceremony. Guo Jian, Vice President and Secretary-General of the Chinese Geophysical Society, Jiang Tao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman, and General Manager of Sichuan Natural Resources Investment Group, Xu Qiang, Vice President of Chengdu University of Technology, and Wang Xuben, Professor at Chengdu University of Technology, also attended the conference and delivered speeches.
