On November 15, the Provincial Discipline Inspection and Supervision Commission held an expanded special study session for its leading group’s theoretical study center, focusing on General Secretary Xi Jinping’s “On the Party’s Self-Revolution.” Participants engaged in exchanges and discussions centered around the theme of “the Party’s self-revolution.” Liao Jianyu, a member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Discipline Inspection Commission, and Director of the Provincial Supervision Commission, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Members of the provincial Discipline Inspection and Supervision Commission’s leading group took turns sharing their insights, work experiences, and personal reflections on the topic, drawing from their respective responsibilities and perspectives—covering the significant implications, efforts to advance practical work, institutional norms, and self-construction.

We must deepen our theoretical study with a spirit of thorough self-revolution, consistently placing theoretical learning in a prominent position and closely integrating it with practical business discussions. Grounded in our functional responsibilities and focusing on our core tasks, we should strengthen and deepen the internalization and application of what we learn, achieving a seamless integration of study and practice and using study to drive action. We must enhance the initiative, relevance, and effectiveness of our learning, treating "On the Party's Self-Revolution" as an essential reference book and compulsory course. We should intensify daily learning in a targeted manner, conduct focused and goal-oriented thematic studies, repeatedly study the text, and deeply grasp its essence—truly learning, truly understanding, genuinely believing, and genuinely putting it into practice. We must concentrate on the work currently underway, deepen high-quality research, identify and tackle key “small entry points,” and continuously promote a spiral-like upward trajectory and high-quality development through study, reflection, practice, and deep comprehension.

Liao Jianyu emphasized.

The achievements of self-revolution, as studied by disciplinary inspection and supervision authorities, are directly reflected in the effectiveness of efforts to rectify conduct and combat corruption. We must strengthen case-handling leadership with a spirit of thorough self-revolution. Every cadre and every post must center their work around case handling and ensuring its effective implementation; every business task and every procedural step must focus on enhancing the quality and efficiency of case handling, continuously reinforcing the awareness that case handling is the central priority and solidifying the leading role of case handling. We must take the initiative and fight proactively, strengthening coordination and command, optimizing deployment and strategic planning, and truly achieving greater goal orientation, greater organizational coherence, greater methodical approach, and greater sustainability. We must hone genuine skills and build strong, capable shoulders—using concentrated case handling to promote collective training—and through “specialized class” operations, “integrated”攻坚 efforts, and “rolling” case handling, we will elevate overall competence, strengthen core competencies, and drive the integrated advancement of the “three modernizations.”

We must firmly keep in mind the solemn commitment that “to forge iron, one must first be strong oneself,” and forge a powerful, ironclad team with a spirit of thorough self-revolution. We must enforce rigorous political training, strict oversight of power usage, and stringent daily supervision; deeply advance special rectifications targeting illegal and improper case handling practices; and exercise strict control over, manage, and wield power with utmost rigor. We should focus on enhancing the overall quality and effectiveness of education and rectification efforts, placing particular emphasis on perfecting and strengthening the system of strict management. We must thoughtfully plan and earnestly implement measures to consolidate and elevate our work, achieve tangible practical results, and produce institutional outcomes—preventing fleeting, superficial efforts and ensuring that our initiatives become truly normalized and sustainable. We must encourage the entire system to proactively assume responsibility, thereby clearly understanding and fulfilling their duties, and integrate the concept of “three no-corruption” into every stage of team building. By exercising strict management and governance, and by focusing on daily oversight, we can foster a virtuous cycle of “high-level team building” and “high-quality work advancement,” enabling these two aspects to complement and reinforce each other.
