Recently, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions issued a decision recognizing “National Model Employee Homes,” “National Model Employee Small Families,” and “National Outstanding Trade Union Workers.” The trade union group at the headquarters of the Geophysical Exploration Institute has been awarded the title of “National Model Employee Small Family.”

In areas with complex topographical conditions—such as high mountains and deserts—as well as in regions with extensive forest cover, ground-based geophysical exploration often proves impractical, resulting in data gaps in many locations and thereby affecting the interpretation of subsequent data and their application in field operations. Under these circumstances, exploring detection methods and technologies suitable for complex mountainous terrains not only holds significant academic value but also addresses an urgent need for engineering exploration.

On September 29, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration held a briefing session on the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 12th Provincial Party Committee and the Third-Quarter 2024 Staff Meeting via video conference. The meeting was chaired by Yu Changheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch and General Manager. More than 60 participants, including all cadres and employees based in Chengdu and members of the field project teams, attended the meeting.
