To be a good host for the Universiade, the Youth League Committee of the Institute of Geophysical Exploration recently organized a volunteer activity themed “Everyone in the City Takes Action—The Universiade Needs Me.” Upon learning that the Qinghua Community in Caotang Subdistrict was facing a shortage of personnel during the distribution of Universiade gift blind boxes, the Youth League Committee immediately took the initiative to contact community workers and swiftly mobilized young volunteers from the institute to join the community’s blind-box distribution effort.

Under the guidance of community workers, the young volunteer members of the League efficiently and accurately completed a series of tasks—including inventorying, distributing, and registering the receipt of the Universiade gift blind boxes—for the entire community in just half a day. The entire process was well-organized and conducted with remarkable composure despite the busy pace. Their efforts were genuinely praised by both community workers and residents!

Through this volunteer-themed activity, the energetic young members of the Geophysical Exploration Institute once again demonstrated the spirit of volunteering through their practical actions. During the Universiade, they set an example by taking the lead in jointly safeguarding the beauty of Chengdu and sharing in this vibrant youth event!
