The Institute of Geophysical Exploration Holds a Mobilization and Deployment Meeting for Studying and Implementing the Correct View of Political Achievements
On March 13, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration convened a mobilization and deployment meeting for studying and implementing the correct outlook on performance in governance. The meeting aimed to thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions and directives on fostering and practicing the correct outlook on performance in governance, to convey and study the spirit of relevant meetings and documents issued by the CPC Central Committee, the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee, and the Party Committee of Sichuan Resources Group, to earnestly carry out the requirements of the Group’s special task force for study and education, and to comprehensively mobilize and deploy the institute’s study and education campaign on the correct outlook on performance in governance in accordance with the Institute’s “Work Plan for Carrying Out Study and Education on the Correct Outlook on Performance in Governance.” Yu Changheng, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman, and General Manager of the Institute, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech. Members of the company’s leadership team and heads of all departments attended the meeting.
The meeting pointed out that this study and education campaign is a major strategic deployment made by the Party Central Committee with a holistic perspective, and it holds profound significance for ensuring a strong start to the 15th Five-Year Plan period, advancing comprehensive and rigorous Party governance, and supporting the high-quality development of enterprises. The important expositions of General Secretary Xi Jinping provide the fundamental guiding principles for carrying out this work. All Party members and cadres must deeply appreciate the political significance and practical value of this study and education, align their thinking and actions with the requirements set forth by higher authorities, and, with a high degree of political, ideological, and practical consciousness, ensure the effective implementation of all tasks, thereby laying a solid ideological foundation for the Group to accelerate its transformation into a world-class, resource-based, strategically important, large state-owned enterprise.
The meeting emphasized the need to closely adhere to the overarching requirements of “establishing the Party for the public good, delivering benefits to the people, making scientific decisions, and pursuing practical and diligent work,” treating study and education as a key task for Party building this year. Grounded in the company’s actual development needs, the focus should be on the Group’s special campaign—“large-scale circulation, large-scale operations, and major improvements”—as well as the deployment for “integration, standardization, and intelligentization,” with concrete results achieved through in-depth study, rigorous inspection, and effective rectification.
The meeting mandated that the company treat study and education as a crucial political task, ensuring thorough and meticulous implementation. It is essential to firmly assign responsibilities: the Party Committee of the company must shoulder primary responsibility; members of the leadership team must fulfill their “dual-responsibility” duties; and leading cadres must set an example by taking the lead in conducting study sessions, identifying problems, and implementing corrective measures. At the same time, we must adhere to the principle of integrating learning with practical application, deeply embedding study and education into core work such as production and operations and project development, while resolutely rejecting formalism. Furthermore, we must strengthen the translation of learning outcomes into tangible results, taking the fundamental interests of employees as our starting point, transforming the fruits of learning into motivation for hard work and entrepreneurship, and using concrete achievements in advancing enterprise development and supporting the Group’s overall construction to evaluate the effectiveness of study and education. In doing so, we will contribute geophysical exploration expertise to the Group’s accelerated efforts to build a “five-first-class” enterprise.
