Recently, the project “Key Technologies and Engineering Applications for Efficient Detection of Water and Grouting Treatment in Water-Rich Mountain Tunnels,” in which the Institute of Geophysical Exploration participated, was awarded the First Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress by the China Transportation Association for 2022. This marks the first time that the Institute of Geophysical Exploration has won an award in this field.

Recently, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration has been granted national authorization for two additional intellectual property rights: an invention patent titled “Magnetic Rod Attitude Adjustment Device, Its Usage Method, and Manufacturing Method,” and a software copyright titled “Shale Gas Platform Electromagnetic Survey Line Layout System.” With these latest additions, the Institute now holds a total of five invention patents and nine software copyrights.

Apply new technologies to effectively tap the potential of old shale gas wells.
From November 23 to November 24, 2022, Zhang Guangda, Secretary of the Party Branch Committee, Chairman of the Board, and General Manager of the Geophysical Exploration Institute, led a team to conduct on-site inspections and carry out in-depth research on key targets for the pilot project aimed at exploring the target strata following hydraulic fracturing at the Changning H3 platform.
