Strength Certification | Sichuan Institute of Resource Geophysics Selected for Sichuan Province’s List of Science and Technology-Based SMEs
As a typical representative of small and medium-sized science and technology enterprises in Sichuan Province, the Sichuan Institute of Geophysical Exploration has once again received recognition. Following its inclusion on the “List of Innovative Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises in Sichuan Province,” it has recently been successfully added to the “7th Batch of Science and Technology-Based SMEs Registered in Sichuan Province for 2023.”
The “List of Science and Technology-Based Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises in Sichuan Province,” serving as a benchmark for technological innovation among SMEs in Sichuan Province, to some extent reflects the technological innovation capabilities of Sichuan’s SMEs as well as the future directions of their technological innovation efforts. Being included on this list is ample evidence that the Sichuan Institute of Geophysical Exploration has achieved remarkable accomplishments, both in terms of technological breakthroughs and in tackling innovative challenges.
In terms of technological breakthroughs, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration has established four innovation studios that have steadily advanced—from pioneering airborne geophysical exploration methods to applying deep-earth geophysical techniques, progressing from nothing to something, from good to excellent, and from excellent to refined. As for innovation itself, the Sichuan Institute of Geophysical Exploration can be said to have never paused its innovative momentum. For the geophysical exploration industry, which is inherently dynamic and evolving, although the Institute has already become a leader in the field, it continues to innovate and grow alongside the entire industry. Throughout this process, the Institute has also achieved several “industry firsts”—including being the first to introduce the integrated “3+2” geophysical exploration method for karst exploration and the first to implement electromagnetic logging-based fracture monitoring from well platforms. Through its robust innovation capabilities, the Institute has shown the entire industry the boundless potential for future development.
There is no doubt that technology and innovation are crucial for a small- and medium-sized enterprise—and they are the very foundation upon which businesses can achieve sustained growth and long-term success. As a leader in the geophysical exploration industry, the Sichuan Institute of Resource Geophysics will continue to forge ahead on the path of technological innovation in the years to come.
