On July 31, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration participated in the preliminary round of the 10th “Maker China” Sichuan Province SME Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition with its innovative project, “Integrated Technology for Engineering Geophysics and Its Application in Shale Gas Development.” After fierce competition, the team won an excellence award and advanced to the selection round.

From July 22 to 23, Liu Jinhui, a member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of the Institute of Geophysical Exploration, led a team to Nanjing to hold an exchange and discussion meeting with the Jiangsu Team of the China National Building Materials Geological Exploration Center. Focusing on the nation’s “Going Global” strategy, both sides discussed common issues in overseas mineral resource exploration and cooperation in the oil and gas sector. Drawing on their project experiences in Africa, they engaged in comprehensive, multi-level discussions covering topics ranging from mineral rights acquisition strategies and exploration technology innovation to the development of international cooperation models, thereby laying a solid foundation for jointly exploring the international mineral exploration market.
