The Institute of Geophysical Exploration held a collective viewing of the rally commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.
On September 3, a grand rally commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War was solemnly held in Tiananmen Square, Beijing. The Institute of Geophysical Exploration organized all its staff to watch the live broadcast of the rally together, jointly remembering history, honoring the martyrs, cherishing peace, and forging ahead into the future.
During the viewing, the employees wore solemn expressions and felt deeply moved as they listened attentively to General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech. They profoundly sensed the indomitable national spirit and patriotic devotion displayed by the Chinese people during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. As they watched the aerial flag-guard formation, the marching infantry units, the battle-flag formations, the equipment formations, and the aerial formations pass one after another through Tiananmen Square, the employees were deeply touched by the magnificent and awe-inspiring spectacle, and a sense of national pride spontaneously arose within them.
By watching the live broadcast of the conference, employees received a profound education in patriotism and a spiritual cleansing that reinforced their national identity. They gained a more comprehensive understanding of the Chinese people’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and its pivotal role and historical contributions to the global anti-fascist struggle. They deeply felt the great spirit of unity, solidarity, and relentless self-improvement embodied by the Chinese nation, and came to appreciate even more just how hard-won today’s peace and prosperity are. Employees unanimously expressed their determination to remember history, honor the martyrs, cherish the peaceful life we enjoy today, stay committed to their respective posts, work diligently, and strive tirelessly to realize the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
