At 9:00 a.m. on May 27, 2022, the 12th Provincial Congress of the Communist Party of China in Sichuan Province was solemnly opened in Chengdu. The Institute of Geophysical Exploration organized its leading team based in Chengdu, members of the Party branch committee, branch secretaries, and party members as well as active candidates to watch the live broadcast together in the institute’s conference room. Meanwhile, party members and cadres working on the production frontlines also watched the broadcast simultaneously via mobile phones, computers, and other devices at their respective project sites.

After multiple rounds of screening—starting with departmental nominations and proceeding through successive evaluations by the Party Branch Committee and the Trade Union—three colleagues—Yang Fei from the Engineering Exploration Department, Mou Yu from the Business Audit Department, and Wen Han from the Office—stood out and were honored as the “Most Beautiful Model Workers” of the Geophysical Exploration Institute for 2021!
