Fire safety is no small matter; we must always be vigilant and address even the smallest signs of trouble. To effectively strengthen all employees’ fire safety awareness and enhance their practical skills in fire prevention and emergency response, the Geophysical Exploration Institute meticulously organized a series of Fire Safety Awareness Month activities in November. Through a three-dimensional approach—combining "learning, inspection, and warnings"—the institute has built a robust "fireproof wall" for safe production. The activities have yielded remarkable results and received an enthusiastic response.

On November 26, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration held the fifth (expanded) study session for the Party Committee’s theoretical study group in 2025. Members of the company’s leadership team, secretaries of party branches based in Chengdu, and mid-level cadres attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Zou Zhongping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, and Chairman of the Trade Union. Yu Changheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager, delivered a concluding speech.

On November 23, the 21st National Security Geophysics Symposium was held in Chengdu. This year’s symposium was themed “Intelligent Detection Technologies and Geophysics,” co-organized by the National Security Geophysics Professional Committee of the Chinese Geophysical Society and other institutions. The event attracted over 200 experts and scholars from research institutes, universities, and related enterprises and institutions across China. Participants engaged in in-depth exchanges on the deep integration of intelligent detection technologies and geophysics, with a particular focus on discussing the application achievements and latest developments of relevant theories, methods, and technologies in the field of national security.

On November 25, in order to deeply commemorate the revolutionary martyrs and carry forward the red gene, the Geophysical Exploration Institute organized its employees to visit the Sichuan Museum and view the special exhibition “Great Victory—The Contributions of Sichuan and Chongqing: Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.” This event aims to enable employees, through immersive learning, to profoundly appreciate the tremendous sacrifices and outstanding contributions made by the sons and daughters of Sichuan and Chongqing during the War of Resistance, further engrave the history of the War of Resistance in their hearts, and rally powerful forces for forging ahead in the new era.

On November 14, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration was invited to participate in the 2025 Western Region Patent Commercialization Promotion Event aimed at fostering the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises. Together with entities such as China Railway Twenty-Third Bureau Group Co., Ltd., the institute officially launched the “Sichuan Province Rail Transit Green and Smart Construction Industry Intellectual Property Innovation Consortium” (hereinafter referred to as the “Consortium”). Yu Changheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the Institute of Geophysical Exploration, attended the event and signed the cooperation agreement on behalf of the institute.
