At a crucial stage of the Group’s in-depth implementation of the special campaign “Year of Capability Enhancement,” from March 27 to 28, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration, as a corporate representative, was invited to attend the themed event “Science and Technology Innovation Tianfu—Smart Gathering in Rongcheng” held in Hefei, organized by Qingyang District of Chengdu. The event was guided by the Chengdu Science and Technology Bureau and the People’s Government of Qingyang District, and hosted by the Qingyang District Bureau of New Economy and Science & Technology. It aims to deepen cooperation among universities, local governments, and enterprises, and to promote the practical application and commercialization of high-quality scientific and technological achievements.

Good News | The Institute of Geophysical Exploration Secures Consecutive Project Awards
Recently, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration has received several pieces of good news in quick succession: it has successfully won the bid for both the audio magnetotelluric survey project during the detailed survey phase of a plateau railway renovation project and the survey and design contract for the tourist navigation channel construction project along the Fuxi River’s Ziliujing section.

Recently, the project “Comprehensive Investigation and Evaluation of the Disaster Mechanisms Behind Clustered Geological Hazards Induced by Heavy Rainfall in a Certain Area of Guangxi,” undertaken by the Institute of Geophysical Exploration and focusing on airborne geophysical exploration, successfully passed its fieldwork acceptance under the organization of the Department of Natural Resources of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and led by the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Geological Environment Monitoring Station. After conducting on-site verification, reviewing documentation, listening to reports, and engaging in detailed questioning, the expert panel unanimously concluded that the project’s results were of excellent quality, with comprehensive and reliable data, and that the project had fully accomplished its predetermined fieldwork tasks. This milestone marks the entry of geological hazard prevention and control in a certain area of Guangxi into a new stage characterized by the integrated application of “air-space-ground-inland” technologies.
