Good News | Liu Jinhui of the Institute of Geophysical Exploration Awarded the 2026 National May Day Labor Medal
On the occasion of International Labor Day, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions has announced the list of recipients of the 2026 National May Day Labor Awards, among whom Liu Jinhui, Deputy General Manager and Senior Engineer of the Institute of Geophysical Exploration, has been awarded the “National May Day Labor Medal.” This national-level honor is a well-deserved recognition of his dedicated commitment to frontline work and his pragmatic, innovative approach; it also reflects the collective achievements of the Group’s talent-development initiatives, the Party Committee’s leadership, the trade union’s nurturing efforts, and the cohesive strength of the team.
Over the past sixteen years, Liu Jinhui has been deeply committed to frontline field exploration, leading more than a hundred major projects that have helped strengthen energy and resource security. He has spearheaded breakthroughs in key technologies for shale gas exploration, securing numerous patents and establishing the Liu Jinhui Innovation Studio. At the same time, he has actively engaged in mentorship and capacity-building, nurturing young professionals while exemplifying the spirit of model workers and rallying collective momentum for progress.
