Focusing on Cutting-Edge Technologies to Jointly Advance Innovation in Geophysics: The “New Technology Exchange Conference on Microseismic Monitoring and Microtremor Detection” Successfully Held
On April 27, the “New Technology Exchange Conference on Microseismic Monitoring and Microtremor Detection,” hosted by the Institute of Geophysical Exploration, was successfully held in Chengdu. The conference brought together nearly 100 experts, scholars, and technical leaders from universities, research institutes, and enterprises.
The conference focused on the needs in areas such as energy exploration, infrastructure safety, and geological hazard prevention and control, and conducted in-depth discussions on cutting-edge technologies in microseismic monitoring and microtremor detection, their application outcomes, and the integration of industry, academia, and research. Participants reached consensus on such topics as innovation-driven development, practical application, and open sharing, and the event also featured demonstrations of new technologies and equipment, along with hands-on operational displays.
Looking ahead, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration will closely align with the Group’s strategic initiatives for “integration, standardization, and intelligentization,” continue to deepen fundamental theoretical research, break through critical technological bottlenecks, expand the boundaries of application scenarios, and strive to write a new chapter in the era of geophysical services that support national strategies and improve people’s livelihoods.
