The Institute of Geophysical Exploration held a special conference for 2025, featuring departmental (entity) performance reports, mid-level cadre accountability and integrity reports, and special performance reports by secretaries of grassroots Party organizations on their work in Party building, accompanied by democratic evaluations.
On February 9, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration organized a comprehensive meeting to review the performance of departments (entities) for 2025, conduct mid-level cadres’ reports on their duties, responsibilities, and integrity, and hold a special report by secretaries of primary-level Party organizations on their work in Party building, accompanied by democratic evaluations. The meeting provided a thorough summary of the achievements made throughout 2025, objectively identified shortcomings and areas for improvement, and clearly outlined the direction for 2026. This effort further reinforced accountability, built consensus, and laid a solid foundation for promoting the high-quality development of the Institute of Geophysical Exploration. A total of 56 participants attended the meeting, including members of the company’s leadership team, secretaries of Party branches, mid-level cadres, and employee representatives. The meeting was chaired by Yu Changheng, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board, and General Manager.

The evaluation conference adopted a combined approach of written reports and on-site presentations. Fourteen departments (entities) submitted their reports to the conference, and four Party branch secretaries delivered reports on their work in strengthening Party building. Attendees conducted democratic evaluations of the departments (entities), mid-level cadres, and Party branch secretaries regarding their efforts in Party building.
The meeting called for the following: First, strengthen political guidance, consolidate the foundation of Party building, continuously promote the standardization and regularization of Party building, deepen the integration of Party work with business operations, and use high-quality Party building to drive high-quality development. Second, focus on core responsibilities and main tasks, enhance the effectiveness of duty performance, and ensure that all departments (entities) set clear targets, take concrete actions, closely monitor key projects and critical links, address shortcomings, and reinforce strengths to improve the quality and efficiency of all tasks. Third, strictly adhere to disciplinary boundaries and always uphold integrity; all mid-level cadres should lead by example and set a good tone from the top down, fostering a clean and upright working atmosphere. Fourth, pool efforts and forge synergy, carefully plan and lay out the groundwork for 2026, ensuring a strong start and steady progress in all future endeavors, and striving to write a new chapter of high-quality development for the Geophysical Exploration Institute.
