The Institute of Geophysical Exploration held the fourth (expanded) study session of the Party Committee’s Theory Study Center Group for 2025.
On October 31, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration held the fourth (expanded) study session for the Party Committee’s theoretical study group in 2025, focusing on studying and implementing the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, advancing the establishment of systems related to the rectification of inspection findings, and conveying and studying the Group’s relevant work requirements. Members of the company’s leadership team, secretaries of Party branches based in Chengdu, heads of various departments (entities), and Party members attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Zou Zhongping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, and Chairman of the Trade Union. Yu Changheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the Institute of Geophysical Exploration, delivered a concluding speech.

The meeting focused on studying the Communiqué of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Party, the "Regulations on the Work of Grassroots Organizations of State-Owned Enterprises of the Communist Party of China (Trial)", the "Regulations on the Work of Party Branches of the Communist Party of China (Trial)", and other important documents. It also covered General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions on emergency management work, including safety production, flood control, and disaster relief, as well as relevant systems issued by the Group and the Institute of Geophysical Exploration. Members of the central study group engaged in an in-depth discussion around the theme: “Deepen learning from inspection and rectification, solidly carry out inspection and rectification work, and strive to turn the outcomes of rectification into tangible development results.”
● The meeting emphasized
This meeting serves both as a concentrated study and implementation of the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Party, as well as a further push forward and thorough implementation of the rectification work identified during inspection tours. Moreover, it provides an opportunity to re-examine and further strengthen the company’s internal management systems.
● Meeting Requirements
First, we must deepen our theoretical education and continuously study and thoroughly grasp the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Party, transforming our learning outcomes into a powerful driving force for promoting enterprise reform and development.
Second, we will rigorously enforce rectification measures from inspection tours. By aligning with the requirements and institutional norms for rectification, we will identify and address gaps, draw broader lessons from specific cases, and ensure that rectification tasks are effectively implemented and yield lasting results.
Third, we will strengthen our sense of responsibility and rigorously implement the “dual-responsibility” system for each post. Taking the “large-scale circulation, large-scale campaign, and major enhancement” initiative as our key driver, we will promote quality improvement and efficiency gains across all business areas, thereby contributing geophysical exploration expertise to the Group’s efforts in building a “five first-class” enterprise.
