The Institute of Geophysical Exploration Holds a Symposium and Exchange with the China National Center for Airborne Geophysics and Remote Sensing of Natural Resources
On October 19, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration and the China National Center for Airborne Geophysical and Remote Sensing of Natural Resources held an in-depth exchange and seminar focusing on industry development trends, technological innovation, resource sharing, and potential future collaboration. Both sides focused on the core needs in the field of mineral resource exploration, thoroughly discussed key pathways for the application of “Satellite-Air-Ground-Well” technologies and scientific research cooperation, and laid a solid foundation for potential future collaboration.

At the symposium, both sides discussed the technical application directions for mineral resource exploration and explored models for scientific research cooperation. They unanimously agreed that the rational application of advanced technologies and collaborative innovation across multiple technologies are crucial for the efficient development of the industry. At the same time, the two sides exchanged views on how to deeply integrate technologies such as airborne remote sensing, airborne geophysical exploration, ground-based geophysical exploration, and borehole-to-surface exploration. They explored how synergistic innovation among these technologies can break through the limitations of traditional exploration methods and further enhance the precision and safety of mineral resource exploration.

This exchange and symposium not only established an efficient communication bridge between the Institute of Geophysical Exploration and the China National Administration of Natural Resources’ Airborne Geophysical and Remote Sensing Center, but also clearly defined the core direction of driving industry development through technological collaboration. Both sides expressed their commitment to continuing to deepen communication, exploring more efficient and environmentally friendly models for mineral resource exploration, and jointly promoting scientific advances in geophysical exploration and the sustainable use of resources, thereby contributing to the nation’s energy and mineral resource security.
