The Institute of Geophysical Exploration has been selected as a “National-Level Science and Technology-based SME.”
Recently, the Sichuan Provincial Department of Science and Technology released the “Announcement on the First Batch of Science and Technology-Based SMEs Listed in Sichuan Province for 2025.” As one of the first batch of entities in Sichuan Province for 2025, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration has successfully been included in the national-level database of science and technology-based SMEs, with an inclusion number of 2025510105A8002071.
According to the “Evaluation Measures for Technology-Based Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises” issued by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance, and the State Administration of Taxation (Guo Ke Fa Zheng [2017] No. 115), a technology-based small and medium-sized enterprise is one that relies on a certain number of scientific and technological personnel to engage in scientific and technological research and development activities, obtains independent intellectual property rights, and converts these rights into high-tech products or services, thereby achieving sustainable development.

As highly dynamic and promising innovation entities, they play a crucial role in reinforcing the central position of enterprises as innovators and are instrumental in upgrading industrial structures and driving regional economic development.
