The Institute of Geophysical Exploration Visits the Jiangsu Team of the China National Building Materials Geological Exploration Center for an Exchange and Discussion.
From July 22 to 23, Liu Jinhui, a member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of the Geophysical Exploration Institute, led a team to Nanjing to hold an exchange and discussion meeting with the Jiangsu Team of the China National Building Materials Geological Exploration Center. Focusing on the nation’s “Going Global” strategy, the two sides discussed common issues in overseas mineral resource exploration and cooperation in the oil and gas sector. Drawing on their project experiences in Africa, they engaged in comprehensive, multi-level discussions—from strategies for acquiring mining rights and innovations in exploration technologies to the development of international cooperation models—laying a solid foundation for jointly tapping into the global mineral exploration market.
At the symposium, both sides drew on their practical experience from projects both domestically and internationally to conduct an in-depth analysis of the opportunities and challenges facing overseas mineral exploration. They also engaged in targeted discussions on cooperation in African mineral surveys and the evaluation of favorable areas for oil and gas resources. Furthermore, they reached a consensus around the goal of “integrating superior resources and jointly expanding into international markets.” In the future, they will strengthen collaboration in areas such as overseas mineral rights screening, exploration scheme design, and joint project implementation, supported by technological complementarity and driven by innovative models. Relying on the Jiangsu Team’s global presence and the Geophysical Institute’s accumulated technical expertise, they will work together to enhance their competitiveness in the international mineral exploration sector.
Taking this exchange as a starting point, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration will work closely with the Jiangsu Team to leverage technology in resource exploration and collaborate to tap into international markets. Together, we will contribute to the implementation of the nation’s “Going Global” strategy in the mineral sector and jointly set sail toward the vast blue ocean of overseas mineral exploration.
